Moon Valley Near La Paz

To get from downtown La Paz to Valle de la Luna by bus, I took a minibus from the area near the San Francisco Church or on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. I kept looking for 20 minutes and finally saw a minibuses with "Mallasa" on its sign, and it took me directly to the entrance after 45-min ride. The fare is 3b  ($0.25 USD).

The Valle de La Luna (The Moon Valley) has two zig-zag trails would take you through different viewpoints and are marked by natural rock formations that look like handmade carvings on the stone. El Buen Abuelo (the good grandfather) is one of the popular ones of these stone figurines.

To return, I walked across the entrance and waited at the bus booth for a bus back to downtown around 1 pm.  I went directly to  Bolivian Popular Food restaurant to enjoy fine dining.
