From Paraty to São Paulo

Rather than taking the bus, I booked a Blablacar from Paraty to São Paulo for cheaper rate, faster time, almost door-to-door transfer, and best of all, making a new friend with the driver who runs 4 boats in Paraty and used to backpack/travel around the world. My last ride via Blablacar was from Luxembourg to  Brussels in 2021. Then I ubered from the driver’s hostel to my own hostel. The 6-hr ride was still tiring.

I picked Villa Hostel in a safe residential area where I can freely walk to supermarkets during day time and take photos in the streets. The main drawback here is not many restaurants or stores, and prices are high. I cooked spaghetti for dinner.
